We are moving forward on several fronts at the same time.
The antenna sits in our garage, ready to be installed on the pole at the transmitter site. The fencing for the site is ready for Brian and Mike to put up, too. The biggest hangup right now is getting electricity to the site. We are looking for a license electrician to hook up the meter box. Then MEA will do the electrical connection. MTA will install the phone line at the same time.
We have to haul the transmitter and the antenna to the site. The antenna will be attached to the pole and cable will be strung to connect it to the transmitter. When this equipment is installed, and phone and electricity are connected, we’ll be able to test our signal. It feels so close now – and there is still a great deal to do.
But, wait, there’s more:
We have moved in to the studio. Caroline is designing the control room and we are collecting all the necessary equipment. The Radio Free Palmer wireless will be moved to the studio soon.
