Mayoral and assembly oaths of office were administered at 5 p.m. The 6 p.m. assembly meeting included discussion of 2013 federal and state legislative priorities, accepting state funds for the Big Lake Road realignment project, suspending the $100 flood plain development permit fee until November 21 for impacted buildings, paying November costs of the M/V Susitna ferry, and a second tall towers advisory committee. The location for the assembly’s November 17 planning session was set for Settlers Bay Resort, Mile 8 Knik-Goose Bay Road.
