On Monday, April 22, Sam and Kevin will be talking to Sally Koppenberg, owner of the Red Beet Bistro in Wasilla, AK – a gluten, soy and chemical free restaurant. Sally’s mission is to serve as much local and organic foods as possible. She grows or harvests much of the produce that is served in the restaurant and sources the remainder of the ingredients from local Alaskan farms. She avoids using processed foods and most dishes are made from raw and organic ingredients and menus are carefully planned around the availability of local and organic foods.
