Radio Free Palmer will be upgrading equipment on Lazy Mountain, so we’ll be off the air in the Palmer area on Wednesday, July 20 for a few hours starting at 5 pm. When we come back on the air, we’ll be broadcasting at 89.7 in Palmer, still at 89.5 in Sutton and 91.5 in Glacier View.
This upgrade should expand our broadcast range into more of Wasilla. We will be asking our listeners to help us determine how far our new reach is. This is a very exciting time for Big Cabbage Radio, which has been providing an invaluable community service through the live streaming of government meetings, interviews with local officials and community members, one-of-a-kind local and national programming, and so much more! We are a member-supported, volunteer-run non-profit.
