Our volunteers are so awesome that the Board decided we’d have 2 volunteers of the year. Tim Escher’s volunteerism at Radio Free Palmer includes:
Built the tower and set up the equipment for the Glacier View translator;Key persons in moving the Lazy Mountain translator last summer;Member and current chair of the Community Advisory Board; Researched, purchased and installed sign for KGVC in Glacier View; Work with our music database to bring it up to the new copyright reporting standards; Worked many hours on the construction of the twos studios at our offices; Developed a process for automatically sending podcasts to website, ITunes, etc. and Developed and implemented backup and security strategy for website.
