On Sat. June 22 our beloved DJ, Dorothy Dunne, aka Dr. DJ , passed away. She leaves a hole in the station. We will miss her smiles, her kindness, and her great music selections on Jazz Groove and Sounds of the Great Land. She opened Jazz Groove every week with the classic Summertime. Expect to hear Summertime on other shows through the week as we honor and remember her.
There will be a memorial service for Dororthy on Sun. June 30 at 4pm at 2529 N. Pointe Cir, Wasilla. Attire: wear whatever delights you! Potluck foods welcome.
