Community Advisory Board
Objective
The objective of the RFP Community Advisory Board (CAB) is to assist RFP in fulfilling its mission to build, inform and celebrate community through local radio. The CAB fulfills the objective by representing diverse constituencies within the Palmer, Sutton and surrounding area, monitoring and evaluating programs, giving voice to underserved segments of the community, serving as a sounding board for ideas presented by RFP staff and bringing issues of community concern to the attention of the RFP Board of Directors.
CAB Membership and Meetings
The membership of the CAB consists of up to seven members. CAB members serve two-year renewable terms and terms are staggered to facilitate the selection of three members one year and four members during the alternating year. CAB meetings take place at least four times annually on the third Monday of January, April, July, and October or on such other day and time as the CAB may designate.
